General Camp Information
Our summer day camps offer children a fun and exciting experience for their summer vacation! Camp runs from June 17 through August 23. All camps are ACA (American Camping Association) accredited. Camp Merrywood is located at 1249 Jesse Bridge Road, Pittsgrove Township (15 minutes from the Y!)

Camp Hours: Our camp day begins at 9:00am and end by 4:00pm. We ask that all children get to camp by 9:15am so that they do not miss any of the fun. We will not accept kids after 9:30am, unless it is a special circumstance, or a camp late drop-off log has been filled out the day prior. The camp day ends at 4:00pm. We do not start releasing campers until 4:00pm. If you need to pick up your camper before 4:00pm, we ask that you fill out the camp early pick-up log. Campers picked up after 4:15pm will be included in the "Extended Day" program.
"Early Bird Club:" By popular demand this year, we are offering an "Early Bird" Club for parents who need to drop off extra early. "Early Bird" Club is available from 6:30 to 7:30am at the Y for an additional fee.
"Extended Day": Our "Extended Day" is available from 7:30 to 9:00am and from 4:00 to 5:30pm at the Y for an additional fee. Children picked up after 5:30pm will be charged a late pick-up fee.
Camp Prices: All camps (Mini-Me, Hiawatha, Mini-Merrywood and Merrywood) are $145.00 per week; Specialty Camps are $150.00 per week. A $20.00 deposit is required to to hold a spot for each week.
Membership: All campers must have a Program Membership for the Y. This membership allows children to take advantage of Y programs throughout the year.
Counselors: Low ratios of staff to children as required by the state, intensive staff training and background screened. Check out our counselor's bio's here!
Camp Weeks: One week sessions for 10 weeks beginning June 17(through August 23). The week of July 1 (Week 3) will be four days vs. five days due to Independence Day.
Accreditation: All of our Y camps are American Camp Association accredited (ACA), are a National Inclusion Project Training Partner and are a state licensed day camp facility.
