Educational Child Care & Preschool
The YMCA of Vineland preschool program for children 3 to 4 years old is a collaboration between the Vineland School District and the NJ Department of Education that provides six hours (9:30am to 3:30pm) of FREE preschool to qualified Vineland residents. Our Early Childhood program implements the High Scope curriculum that encompasses cognitive, social/emotional and physical growth through developmentally appropriate practices. Registration for this program is through the Vineland School District Registration Office.
Registration is open for the 2018-2019 school year. Please contact our Family Workers at 856-691-0030 extension 115 to obtain a packet, ask questions or visit our preschool!

Wrap Care/Before and After School (Preschool Students)
An optional Wrap Care program is available for Preschool students. Children are accepted from all preschools. Transportation is not provided by the YMCA, please check with the Vineland Public Schools Transportation Department for more information on changing your "child's bus stop."
Wrap Care hours run from 7:30am to 9:30am and 3:30pm-5:30pm. Download a registration packet HERE!
Activities include: Healthy U program, outdoor playground time, outdoor games, indoor gym time, and free play.
Third Party Assistance is available and accepted.
The Y's Healthy Y program, sponsored by the Horizon Foundation, uses the CATCH (Coordinated Approach to Child Health) curriculum in the preschool, afterschool, and elementary school settings. The program promotes nutrition education, noncompetitive physical education, improves self-esteem and strong involvement. CATCH is an evidence-based and award winning curriculum that was created in 1992 by national education and child health experts.
