2020-2021 School Year - Service Temporarily Suspended
We appreciate your patience while we work to find the best plan on moving forward for the 2020-2021 school year. At this time, we are speaking with our school district partners to prepare our School Age Child Care program for the upcoming school year. As we have information to share we will do so immediately through our website, emails, and our social media.
Our Before and After School Care program is designed to provide care for children while parents/caregivers are working. We emphasize the Y’s four core values in character development – caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility – in every activity and interaction.
Our goals for the program are to provide:
- A warm, caring and safe environment
- Each child the opportunity to develop their self-confidence and social skills
- Developmentally appropriate activities that stimulate creativity and encourage learning through fun and discovery.
Since the 2017-18 school year, our program with the Egg Harbor City School District provides After Care for Spragg School. Our program provides children and parents a safe, enriching, dependable and affordable after care experience.

Before Care: 6:30am until the start of school
After Care: end of school until 6:00pm

Closing Information
If your child's school is closed:
YMCA program will NOT run
Scheduled Holiday School Closings:
The YMCA Before & After School program will be closed based on the School District Calendar. The YMCA will provide Holiday Care (held at the Y) for most scheduled days off. To learn more or download a Holiday Care registration packet, click here!
