A safe, healthy, fun, and free celebration of Halloween is set for Friday, October 22 at the Cumberland Cape Atlantic YMCA. The evening will start at 6:00 p.m. and continue until 7:30 p.m. This annual event is open to the community. It will be held outdoors behind the YMCA at the new Let’s Play Outdoor Fun Zone. The Y is located at 1159 East Landis Avenue, in Vineland.
“This event will have more activities than ever,” said Donna Ocasio, the Y’s Member Services director. “It’s the first one to be held in the Let’s Play Outdoor Fun Zone, and it will have a moonbounce, pumpkin patch, face painting, crafts, games, and more. We have also added a new haunted trail!”
Local vendors and YMCA staff will also be on site. Costumes are encouraged but not required.
Ocasio said, “We invite families and kids to enjoy playing, laughing, and a happy Halloween celebration.”
