Swimming is a fun and enjoyable activity for children and adults alike, and it’s an easy way to stay physically active and improve strength, flexibility and stamina.

Swimming is a life skill, as well as great exercise and a challenging sport. Ys offer swim lessons (for all ages), family swim, competitive swimming teams, and many kinds of adaptive swim programs for kids with special needs, so we can all safely enjoy the pleasures of an aquatic environment. Our Y also offers a variety of Water Exercise classes that give a low-impact but effective workout for anyone who participates.

The Kontes Pool is open for lane reservations for lap swimming, water exercise, water walking, and weekend family swim. Click the links below to learn about our guidelines to enter the facility for use of the pool and to find out how to reserve a lane through our Daxko system.
