Healthy Kids Day is a favorite local tradition, and 2022 marks its thirtieth year of providing a free, healthy outing for families. The event will be held at the Cumberland Cape Atlantic YMCA, at 1159 East Landis Avenue, in Vineland. The date is set for Saturday, April 30. Hours will be noon to 2:00 p.m., plus a Community Swim from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
This year’s event will be bigger and better than ever. It will include games, crafts, vendors, a Bounce House, refreshments, prizes, giveaways, community resources, and more.
Donna Wells, the Y’s Membership director, said, “Healthy Kids Day allows families to enjoy sports and fun together. It can engage every member of the family. We are bringing back favorite activities and have added new ones, too.” New this year will be active demonstrations, including Cardio Drumming, Kickboxing, and Water Safety. Wells also noted that the Y’s “Let’s Play” Outdoor Fun Zone will be open.
