Father's Day was founded at the YMCA in Spokane, Washington in 1910 by Sonora Smart Dodd. Her father, the Civil War veteran William Jackson Smart, was a single parent who raised his six children there. Father’s Day is now celebrated nationally on the third Sunday of June.
In honor of this YMCA tradition, Facility Members are Invited to join us for Family Game Night on MONDAY, JUNE 21, 2021 from 5:30 pm-6:30 pm in our new “Let’s Play” Outdoor Fun Zone and enjoy games together like Giant Connect4, Jenga, Cornhole, and more, plus COMPLIMENTARY ICE CREAM BARS.
